The following two paragraphs are included on the website page stating Our Charitable Objectives. The content is very important if you are considering making an application for a grant and is repeated here in case it was missed.
In order to meet our grant funding criteria, applications will need to be by individuals or by organisations; the organisations will need to be a registered charity or a not-for-profit; and both individuals and such organisations must be able to demonstrate that the primary purpose of the grant will be to help causes associated with our objectives.
Individuals and organisations will also need to be able to answer “no” to the initial two questions and be prepared to comply with the requirements of the third question:-
i. Is the beneficiary individual or organisation a pressure group or a campaigning or political organisation?
ii. Does the project aim to promote religion (other than Charitable Object 3.) or politics of any kind, and does it exclude any part of society?
iii. Have any of the members of the Board of the beneficiary organisation or any beneficiary individuals ever been convicted of an offence involving dishonesty, or abuse of vulnerable people and, if so, full disclosure at the time of application is necessary for the Trustees deliberations.
How to apply?
Grant applications must be made in writing using the Application Form. Applications should be sent by email or by post. Please see Contact Details.
Who can apply?
Any individual or organisation who are based or their headquarters are based in England & Wales and aligns with our overall grant funding criteria. We will consider grants of varying amounts and durations.
When to apply?
There are no deadlines for applications. The Trustees meet quarterly to review and approve, or otherwise, applications. However applicants should be mindful of their timescale in respect of when they would require a grant.
What happens after we have received an application?
If the grant proposal doesn’t meet our funding criteria we will write and tell you. All eligible applications will be assessed and whilst we may contact you for more details the Trustees decision is final.
How long will it take to get a decision?
The Trustees will review the application at the first available meeting. We will keep you updated on the status of your application.
Progress reports
If the application for grant funding is successful, we may ask for regular progress reports based on mutually agreed timescales. Details of the reporting schedule will be agreed before the funding is provided.
